Un judío anticipa la redención
Una carta enviada por un judío de Galilea en el siglo IV expresaba el sentimiento predominante entre los judíos de que la redención estaba cerca.
«He aquí, los reyes romanos han ordenado que nos devuelvan las puertas de Jerusalén. Subid rápido a Jerusalén para la Fiesta de los Tabernáculos, ya que nuestro reino está a punto de ser reconstruido en Jerusalén».
