Jacob lived joyfully and in peace for another 17 years in the land of Egypt. Before he passed, he gathered his sons and blessed them. He also blessed Joseph’s sons as his own.
Genesis 48:20:
So that day Jacob blessed them and said: “By you, shall Israel pronounce this blessing: ‘May G-d make you like Ephraim and Manasseh.’”
