Rabbi YeHuda Nassi finishes Mishne in Tzipori

In his final years, Rabbi Yehuda HaNassi moved the Sanhedrin to Tzipori and finished the Mishnah there in the year 190 CE.

Tzipori was a significant town in ancient Galilee and became one of the key rabbinical centers following the Bar Kokhba revolt. It remained predominantly Jewish till the end of the 4th century.
