A letter written in 1034 CE describes the collapse of the Western Wall of Temple Mount near a synagogue on the first day of Pesach (Passover), which miraculously did not harm anyone. 

The collapse was a belated consequence of an earthquake that occurred on December 5th, 1033, CE.

The Synagogue, mentioned in many letters, was called "the Cave" and suffered some damage.
