68 CE
Read while you listen

This picture shows a Roman victory column from the reign of Vespasian and his son Titus which was found built into the foundation of the Umayyad palace constructed by the Muslims south of Temple Mount around 661-700 CE.

This pillar mentions Vespasian, Titus, Lucius Flavius Silva - the commander of the Tenth Legion, and the Tenth Legion itself. The column probably once stood atone of the entrances to the Temple in Jerusalem or in the Roman Cardo.
